Hondarus/guatemala/mexico

My good friend and I will be traveling first to Roatan Hondarus to get my friend PADI certified. After that we are trying to decide what to do. We want to keep diving, and were going to go to belize, but with the flooding in Southern Belize, it isnt really practical. so maybe head to the paciic coast? so were looking for suggestions tips and advice. We are DEFINITELY BUDGET travelers. so please keep that in mind. we will be traveling only by bus...cant wait to leave...getting really excited and keep posted for follow up stuff.
