To arrive in a new town on foot is a completely different experience than arriving in a car or a bus. It's the thrill of knowing you've discovered something new using 100% your own energy. In 2012 I became addicted to this sensation, going from town to town to town on "Superhikes" that trailed for hundreds of kilometres in Italy, Morocco and Spain
