After exploring the Casablanca Megapolis, the hub of modern-day Morocco, I'm in the mood for something more historical. I head to Fes, the heartland of the earliest Arab empires that still can feel frozen in time. From there I travel from town to town exploring the farmlands, the hill country, and the barren plains of Central Morocco.
