A Winter Wonderland
About this blog
Every couple of years the Seattle area is crippled by snow, it only takes a few inches and the world slows down or comes to a grinding halt. Schools close, businesses close and scenes of cars sliding down the many hills dominate the news.
For some of us lucky enough to also slow down the world takes on a magical quality. The blanket of snow muffles the everyday din of traffic noise and once again the world is a quiet place to a walk and just enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.
This is our neighborhood.
