Part 1: Northern Europe
About this blog
I'm traveling with my father aboard his yacht, along with a crew of 12 and many guests along the way. We came aboard in St. Petersburg, and cruised along Finland and Eastern Sweden before spending a week in Copenhagen. We continued up the Western coast of Sweden visiting many small fishing villages along the way, before crossing the North Sea to the Orkney Islands, heading down the East coast of the United Kingdom through Scotland, Whitby, Harwich and then London. While the yacht crossed the North Sea again, we visited Leeds Castle and Dover. After a week in the Netherlands we cruised down the coast to Bruges and Normandy, before spending a few days in Paris as the yacht traveled down to Bordeaux, to begin Part 2 of our travels in Southern Europe.
I never would have imagined that I would be doing this in my life. After all, I was the kid that all the other school kids were afraid of. I was the kid who no one dared sit beside on the school bus-and I was perfectly okay with that. The most amazing part of my life isn't what's happening now as I travel the world with my adopted father. What is most amazing to me is how someone who believed in me and saw through all my fears and insecurities was able to guide me from being lost in world of pain to being...to being...well-Happy.
