This is my Retirement Trip.

back in the 80's I traveled to Carlsbad New Mexico and ran out of time - so close and so very far away. So for the next decades work and Marriage got in the way - now I'm divorced and recently retire so..........

I will be traveling along the old Route 66 from Chicago Il to San Diego CA. I will then tour California returning via the SD Badlands back to Chicago and then home to Ontario.

Because I am on a motorcycle (Yamaha VStar 1100) my plans will be made day by day as create a fixed itinerary causes me too much stress and that I want to avoid.
