Burma to Shanghai- Timing is Everything

I'm enthusiastic/anxious about going to Myanmar/Burma and Shanghai. I wanted to see Myanmar last year but hundreds killed by the Myanmar military after monk protests stopped me. What happens inside Myanmar is largely unknown to the outside world, which attracts me. Shanghai just seems like the ultimate spot in Asia at moment.

I don't know what I'm in for but I'm eager to check out Myanmar and Shanghai. I never make it to Shanghai.

By chance,a massive cyclone just hit Myanmar.

When I go to Asia there's disaster-In 2001 I went to China,9-11 occurred.In 2003 I took off on Japan Airlines hours prior to the massive power blackout of the Northeast USA. I was in Singapore enroute to Thailand for the 2003 tsunami. Now the cyclone-odd luck.
