Technically, this is a trip that began with my arrival in England in 1969. The fact that this site sets its oldest date as 1972 is not ego-enhancing. So, there are approximately 50 countries in Europe and I aim to visit them all before I'm 50. Luckily, I've clocked up a reasonable number of visits already and a rate of two a year will do the trick. Firstly, I will spend some time cataloguing my first visit to each country, interspersed with random posts on what constitues Europe, what constitures a country and what constitutes a visit. Then I can add new countries as I visit them...
