This motor trip through parts of Central and Eastern Europe with my friend Byron was much more "grown up" than my previous backpacking trips through the continent. We never shared a bathroom with strangers, and we had our own wheels the entire time, both on our rented car AND on our suitcases. While the vehicle provided the convenience and flexibility to go wherever we wanted on our own time, you'll see that it was also the source of a few misadventures.
