After playing in a winter basketball league in the Czech Republic, I attempt to hitchhike across Europe and Western Africa to a small country called Guinea-Bissau, where the Bijagos' Archipelago is rumored to house a matriarchal society and traditional culture.

My goal is to get there, spend three months there, and have a good time. But, will it be easy?
