A lazy week in Gosier, Guadeloupe

After years of hard work, Kodjovi & I decided to take a week off and head to Les Antilles, the Francophone region of the Carribean. Guadeloupe is a Department of France, so when we told people we were heading to Guadeloupe, the common response was "where?". Even though we went during the rainy season, there was plenty of sun and beautiful vistas to make it a true carribean vacation. We spent the week swimming, tanning, boating and of course, eating well. We met lots of friendly locals, tourists and even caught up with a long lost family cousin living in Pointe-a-Pitre.
