This trip started with a little niggling voice in the back of my head a few years ago, progressed to an idea to go to Southeast Asia and South Korea (the homeland), and expanded to a round the world trip. I've experienced panic attacks at the enormity of this undertaking, but I'm finally here, not sure how I got from point A to point B -- from panic attack to doing it. Will I starve because I don't speak the language and not know how to order? Will I get enlisted in the South Korean army? Will a handsome foreigner sweep me off my feet? I can't know, and that's what makes this trip so exciting and FAB!
