The Alleys of Mumbai
About this blog
The landing at the Mumbai international Airport was bumpy but the ride back to my hotel in south mumbai which was about half n hour drive from the airport was more dodgy than my all time favourite game The Mario Bros...The city does has a certain charm as i had read in numerous edits and columns back in my country..The streets drenched in orange florescent street lights gave a distinct feel to the entire road, although it seemed quite late to be arriving in a city i was able to get a deja vu of the back alleys of Brazilian ghettos..reached my hotel was already 6 in the morning and with an stomach still fighting with the edible juices in my digestive tract i didnt feel like takin any more chances and slept my way to glory...

My first major hurdle as obvious was understanding the locals as i had a few friends who had informed me bout the errant and fleecing cab drivers..well being a good student in finance did help...
First stop of the day was Marine drive also called as the Queens Necklace the view i should admit if not anywhere close to the california bay but does has a fair share of its own charm.
after walkin around for 20 minutes i got to know that there is an actual beach shore called "Chowpatty" iwas quite different than the shores we hav back in the country but
