Cheryl and DH arrived Shanghai from Portland on Sept. 6th 2 days before my arrival. My buddy, Lily, had been taking good care of the two. By the time I landed in Shanghai, Cheryl already had her hair cut, styled, and even colored the first time. Lily also accompanied me to get my hair done; which has become a ritual or 1st thing on To-Do list each time we visit China for the past few years.

Encouraged and empowered by Lily's extensive travel experiences and her expertise on self guided tours （自由行）, on Sept. 11th, we started our 8-day journey to Sichuan province. The 自由行 sure cost more than those tours booked through travel agencies however; it worth every penny.
