Thanksgiving in Italy

I had this persistent fantasy to live and work in Italy. Perhaps, I thought, I could work with immigrants in Bologna. Despite talking to friends and family who encouraged me, I couldn't make the big life move. But I didn't want to be someone who only had dreams. I wanted to be someone who was a world traveler. And so I booked one Thanksgiving in Italy. The fare was cheap. The kids were little. We had a good time.
