I don't exactly have an itinerary or a deadline set for this trip, I've estimated anywhere from three to six months depending on how things go. Nice to have the freedom to choose what I want to do really but work might end up interrupting this trip in any case.

Last contract finished at the end of November so went to Bali and the Gilis to catch up with a mate then headed to NZ for xmas. Plan now is to visit my sister in Melbourne then fly to Singapore and make my way North through Malaysia and Thailand to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Assuming I'm still in the mood for travelling I want to head to Hong Kong then make my way through China before eventually getting to Japan. From here there's a number of options, straight back to the UK, a road trip through the states or possibly the Trans Siberian if it's possible to get visas sorted.

For me this trip is mainly about seeing and visiting new places, the people I meet along the way are undoubtedly an important part of it - and can make the trip - but for me that's not the primary reason for travelling. I expect this to be my last big trip so hope it goes well.
