9 days trip to Mauritius to attend a friend's wedding at the Legends Hotel In Grand Gaube. I was chuffed to find out Mauritius is so diverse and has so much to offer for those wanting to go off the beaten track. I keep comparing every beach with the Maldives ones, and though Mauritius beaches are not remotely as amazing, the people and the fantastic sea food have left me with sweet memories and heaps of learnings... I recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax & scuba dive, whilst also being able to take a bike and get lost in some of the cute towns in the island. Mauritius is very safe and inexpensive if you stay out of honeymoon 5 stars hotels. In one word, a very green country, diverse and chilled out with cool citizens...
