The McGoverns Venture South, North and West in 2012
About this blog
This blog describes our second big trip. We head to Tasmania and tour around there for six weeks, then cross back to Melbourne, then drive to Adelaide. After that we go up through the centre to Uluru and Alice Springs then head to Darwin, Broome, and then travel slowly down the West Coast in time to see the wildflowers. After that we cross the Nullabor, and work our way gradually back to Sydney then Queensland. Once back at Queensland we will head up north for the winter. We have a rough plan of where we will go, but no plans on how long it will take. If we like a place we will stay, if we don't we will move on. One thing you quickly learn when caravanning is to take one day at a time, don't plan too far ahead, and just enjoy every moment.
