Cycling the Rockies as a Family
About this blog
We have traveled around the world as a family yet had not experienced our own country's natural beauty. So what better way to challenge ourselves and get a 'front row seat' of God's natural splendor then to Cycle the Icefields Parkway 230 km portion of the Canadian Rockies? On September 1, 2010 our family (Mom & Dad, Sabrina 14, Sophia, 12, James 10 and Monique 8) set out from Summerland making the 11 hours (much longer than Google maps predicted) drive out to Jasper, Alberta. We cycled 4 days, camped 4 nights and treated ourselves to the Hostel at Lake Louise, Alberta.
