I am getting ready for Sunday's 12 1/2 hour flight to Beijing. I am both nervous and excited about the big trip. I've got my shots, my medicine, new clothes (with wardrobe help from Karin) and I think it will be enough. This blog is my attempt to bring you with me, as best I can. I hope to take lots of pictures of the games and Beijing to keep you posted on my adventures. I received my documents only last week. I have a uniform which is similar to the traffic cops in town complete with 2 sets of white gloves, spats, a red cumberbund and sword. Actually, its khaki pants, a blue polo shirt and baseball cap.
