About this blog

This blog is the story of our trip through africa from London to Cape Town in a 1993 Ford Courier Double Cab 4x4. Its name is Corrie.

Our Crew consists of 3 Auditors, or has been auditors. Andre Buchner, Dave Colley and Rob Knowles, aged 26, 27, 27 respectively. Andre and Rob both completed thier accounting articles at KPMG in Johannesburg, and Dave is currenly busy completing is accounting articles with Mazars in the UK. He will be taking 3 months off to do the trip.

The trip has always been a dream of the three of us, and planning started as early as 2005 with the basic idea being thrown around. But here we are in 2010 with the adventure a reality.
