About this blog

Read on to learn of my adventures. I traveled to Bolivia, Peru, & Ecuador with my travel buddy, Ben, in September 2006. I planned the itinerary; Ben was in charge of lodging (ranging from a zero-star hotel to a 5-star resort). We made several changes to the itinerary before leaving (ex., originally starting in Lima, Peru), but everything worked out great starting in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and ending in Guayaquil (instead of Quito). By flying American Airlines, using their multiple-stop option (instead of buying 2 one-way tickets), I was able to avoid $1100-1200 one-way fares (Phoenix-Santa Cruz; Guayaquil-Phoenix) and spend "just" $800 total. Who knew American Airlines flew to those cities?

Enjoy my journals & photos.
