Dharmablog
About this blog
For one month, I'll be participating in the Woodenfish Humanistic Buddhist Monastic Life program, living in the Fo Guang Shan monastery in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The program is the equivalent of a 3-credit college course in Buddhism, and my time is spent enacting the basic daily activities of the monks and nuns on grounds including study, community service, heavy meditation, and other rituals. Though internet usage will be sporadic, I'll try to refresh the blog with entries from my travel journal.
Also, I'll likely not be able to upload photos, as I've not brought a proper cord. Will add when possible.
See www.woodenfish.org for details!
