A year ago we visited Alaska. It took an Alaskan to remind us we had chosen to spend our 49th anniversary in our 49th state. That thought had never occurred to us. Now, nothing else would do but to spend our 50th anniversary in our 50th state, but we had already planned to visit our western national parks this year. Well, aren't those parks on our way? Besides, if we go west "gradually" we won't have to deal with severe jet lag. Our 50th anniversary trip began to take shape. Please enjoy it with us.
