I am off on another adventure in October. (Actually this is one of the trips I had to eliminate from my sabbatical in 2010 because of time restrictions. I should have taken a year dammit!! ) Anyway, I am off to Africa in October and November to go on safari and to hike in the mountainous regions of Uganda and Rwanda to see our closest primate relatives up close and personal. There are just over 800 Mountain Gorillas left in the whole world, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to see these magnificent creatures up close and personal. I end my vacation with a 5 day side trip to Zanzibar with its beautiful beaches, spice farms, mosques and incredible seafood.
