"Europe calls" Going through the process of redundancy, having no relationship ties, except my cat, I have the security of a great lodger, Andy at home. The time has come for me to up my stumps and take off across Europe. The idea started as a trip to Bordeaux, France to visit my friends Clare and Chrystelle, then the idea has just grown and I decided to carry on wherever my fancy takes me. The rough plan is to travel through France, Italy, possibly Greece and I've no idea how I'm getting home again.

Watch this space to keep up with my culinary adventure as I largely Youth Hostel my way around Europe.
