The gringa trail

About this blog

The Inca trail is an old footpath leading into Machu Picchu in Peru. The surrounding area is commonly referred to as "the gringo trail" because so many "gringos" (white foreigners) flock to this area to take in the scenery. I, as a "gringa", am finally making my long awaitted pilgrimage to the land of the Incas: Peru and Chile. I hope to brush up on my Spanish, enjoy time off from work this summer, and be awestruck by God's creations in such extreme lands.
