San Francisco - the city by the bay
About this blog
Earlier this year through work I was lucky enough to win two tickets to anywhere in North American that American Airlines flys to. So using my Holiday Inn points we decided that San Francisco is a place we wanted to go!
It was a great but short trip. Day one we did some walking around downtown, then the next day we explored Fisherman's Wharf and the ferry docks, then the crookedest street in the world.
We spent Friday at Alcatraz, and then in the evening visited the Mission District for dinner and Castro.
Our last day we took an extended walk along the bay at the Golden Gate Promenade, until we got to the Golden Gate Bridge.
a Bit of an exciting trip home and another vacation under the belt!
