My roommate at school is taking me back home with him to the Maldives for Christmas. I'm going to be getting a little more culture than most people see because I won't be in a resort more than one night. I'll have almost a day layover in Dubai, UAE so I am going to try to get a visa for a few hours and get out and practice what I have been learning in Arabic, haggle for some gifts, and smoke some hookah! Should be a blast, more to follow later!
