Around the world in 129 days!From Paris to Los Angeles/Boston(Visit the Edinburgh & London blogs first as the trip actually starts with these separate blogs)

I decided to take four months off work when I finished up my employment with Open Text to take advantage of an Around the World airfare award I had achieved with United Airlines. The trip will include 15 air destination cities from the United Kingdom, to France, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, India, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, The Cook Islands, French Polynesia and finishing up with a return to California and Boston. The first legs of this journey are in separate travelogs for Edinburgh and London; however, my friend Rajiv pointed out that we were missing out on the world map of my path by my creating separate logs for each destination! I should have thought of that. Thanks Rajiv! From Paris forward, all entries will be here.
