Hi! I'm Kevin McMullan and I'm an entertainer/producer/writer from just outside New York City. Spreading ashes of a loved one around the world has become such a common practice that it even has a name: Wildcat Spreading.

I guess this is a trip with a mission. When my companion of 27 years, the concert pianist and composer Jim Fradrich (the blond in the picture - I'm the other one) passed away last year, I took on two new missions: to get his music "out there and heard" and to spread his ashes around the world, both in places of personal importance and also spiritual and high-electromagnetic places. What can I say -- he told me to be creative.

This is my second RTW trip. The first was in 1999, and that was also the first time I had stepped foot out of this country. I traveled then to Australia, Bali, Bangkok (where I became very ill with food poisoning) and London. Since then, I've been to Europe several times, all over Turkey and in 2008, Jim and I took a Mediterranean cruise for our 25th anniversary.

I hope to make regular updates and also will be dispensing advice (provided my experiences merit it) regarding spreading of ashes in various parts of the world. I'll be travelling to Los Angeles, Japan, Bali, India, Nepal, Egypt, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, France and England from mid-January through the end of March.

I'm not limiting my trip to that activity however. I figure I may as well have some fun while I'm doing it. He'd want it that way...and he's coming with me.
