For a good 4-5 years now, my husband and I have been planning on buying a property in France. Originally we were thinking Paris, but, well, it's just too darned expensive.

A day hasn't gone by that I don't think of my goal. About 3 years ago, a friend of mine gave me a gift with a card that read, "Eye on the Prize"! I've kept my eye on the prize, and this is the story of getting that prize...
