Driving down to Tirana is exciting, everything is new, and at night it's a relatively quiet night. Driving down in daytime, though is a whole different experience :). All of Tirana parties at night, at least that's how it seems at first sight! Stefan was my tour guide this first weekend and has showed me his Tirana, a colorful city surrounded by mountains (with snowy peaks), with traffic chaos, many people walking around the streets and hanging out in coffee bars, and construction workers who work on Saturdays even and with rain or shine! The rain causes permanent mud pools and makes me slippery slide my way through Tirana! Getting lost will be my life due to a lack of street signs and man small entrepreneurs selling the same goods!
