Copenhagen - a magical kind of place, but be prepared to take a spare arm and leg cos it's the most expensive place ever!

Copenhagen is a lovely place to see, but I could only spend a short time there as it is very expensive! Tivoli was amazing - an amusement park like I've never seen before! Beautiful decorations, especially at Christmas time and so many lights sparkling everywhere! The thrill rides are great too and the view from the top is awesome! I also saw the Little Mermaid statue (real one and imposter with significantly larger breasts!), Hans Christian Andersen statue and his old house, the Palace where Princess Mary resides and the general city area where the shops are is nice to just walk around and take it all in. Their currency (Danish Krone) is also very attractive, covered in love hearts! The Ikea furniture in our hostel room was awesome too!
