The anticipation is beginning to mount...less than a week before our trip begins. It seems like we have planned this forever. We knew that we wanted to take this cruise on Princess that transitions ships from the Alaska season to the Australia runs. Accidentally, when I was looking over special offers, being bored one day in July of 2005, I noticed this cruise being offered at a very special price. I never plan that far ahead, but I couldn't turn down a mini-suite for a 22 day trip for $2700 AND one I had been lusting over for several years! From Vancouver to Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, Glacier Bay and Ancorage; to Kodiak, the Aleutian Islands, Russia, South Korea, two ports in Japan and completing the cruise in China. Now it's almost here!
