The decision has been made and I am officially studying abroad for the Spring 08 semester! I bought my plane ticket and turned in my application to the Maastricht Center for Transatlantic Studies in Maastricht, Netherlands. My roommate Mackenzie and I are already getting antsy to get out of Vermillion, South Dakota and to switch up our studies. We plan on traveling a big chunk of Europe (we'll see if our finances can handle that) and enjoying every minute while we are there. We don't leave for another couple months-February 7th-but I am still nervous as can be-it will be my first time flying and we will have a nonstop flight from Minneapolis, MN to Amsterdam, Netherlands..."jet lag" here we come! Wish me luck!!!
