About this blog

The least you can say about Iceland is that it is not like any other place in Europe. No other European country has this vast amount of volcanoes, glaciers, geysers, hot springs and other geothermal features. Located at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, the land is constantly changing - sometimes gradually and unnoticeable, other times violent and energetic. Jules Verne found enough inspiration in Iceland to write his novel Journey to the Centre of the Earth. I'll keep it to a few blog entries.
