About this blog

Our adventure is our trip of a lifetime, we reckon we may never do another long haul trip so we're going to make this one very special. The original plan was to visit New Zealand but then we decided we might as well see as much as possible on a round the world ticket afterall our time is our own now as we are both retired. The bulk of our trip will be our passion travelling around in a motorhome as free spirits and canoeing and walking as much as possible to get next to nature. On the way we are visiting Kay's friend Sue from college days who lives in South Africa on the Garden Route from Cape Town. Then visiting Perth and Sydney to break up the journey, planning to walk across Sydney Harbour Bridge and walking in the Blue Mountains. Lots of time to explore New Zealand, spending Christmas in a tree house on the Coromandel Peninsula and New Year on the harbour front in Auckland. Looking forward to swimming with dolphins, meeting yellow eyed penguins and seeing the albatross. Fiji is another adventure island hopping on a small clipper. so follow our journey and keep in touch please.
