"Historical capital city and place of my birth"

We were in Budapest, Hungary, in May, 2008. We flew from Stanstead with EasyJet. Tha capital is very busy all day, it took 40-45 minutes by car to arrive at our accomodation in Buda. The weather was hot, 30-32oC. If you want to use a taxi from the airport, be careful with the fee! Always check the meter! They are quite expensive. I recommend seeing the city by Sightseeing Bus. You can go the Buda Castle from Adam Clark square (Clark Adam tér) by funicular, because the view is worth it. I thoroughly recommend the sightseeing boat trip on the Danube for the evening. Much more spectacular!
