Early retirement: London to Shanghai by rail, Down Under and a little bit of Africa

About this blog

After four years of work, it's time for an extended holiday!

The description is a bit of a cheat as the vagaries of international air travel mean I have to fly out of London. But I'm only going as far as Brussels so I'm not cheating too much. All being well, I'll reach Shanghai by the end of October, spend November and December moseying through New Zealand and Australia and arrive in Cape Town for Christmas.

I'll be working with a charity called Mondo Challenge in Tanzania from New Year to April and then flying to Ghana to work for another voluntary organisation called Women in Progress until July.

Hope you enjoy reading about it.

Kate.
