The first stage of our adventure - Hong Kong! We stayed in Dorsett Seaview Hotel,Kowloon - thought we'd treat ourselves to a hotel before the backpacking began. We didn't do much that day, we were so tired due to the long flight and the heat - approx. 28degrees and very humid. Went to Temple street night market and had dinner for HK$50 for both of us! The next day we went over to HK island on the Star Ferry and up on the peak tram, the sky terrace gave us amazing views over HK island and Kowloon. We walked around the botanical gardens for a short while and around HK before sitting in a bar on the harbour and enjoyed a very over-priced beer. The following day (our departure day) we visited the history and science museums and then left HK.
