I'm spending 6 months travelling to the Middle East (via Tanzania) where I plan to improve my Arabic, visit some interesting places, eat a lot of nice food and generally enjoy not being in an office. I'll try to keep you updated on my movements, reassure you that I'm not turning into some sort of fundamentalist and hopefully give you an idea of what living in Damascus is like!
