So I was sitting at home one night and I get this phone call from Barack. "Jennifer," he says, "I need someone to help me improve our relationship with the Mideast. It's a very misunderstood region with a long, rich history. Not to mention beautiful carpets :) Besides, Hillary's got a lot on her plate...." And thus began the 6-week adventure that will take me to Iran, Syria, and Jordan.
