Hello all-

Assuming you've reached this website upon your own free will and entirely uncoerced, I owe it to you to share the best of this summer's travels through Europe and Africa. It was an interesting itinerary that featured a heat wave in London, the first snow in Johannesburg in eight years, and variations of weather in between that streched the uses for the limited clothing I was able to pack (e.g. socks as gloves came in handy in Botswana). Meteorological extremes aside there wasn't a day I wasn't grateful for the opportunity to experience it all.
