My boyfriend and I traveled down Central America, starting in Cancun, Mexico and ending in Panama City in the fall of 2011!!! We volunteered at 3 different places along the way. We rode chicken buses, hitchhiked, and backpacked. It. Was. Awesome.

Partially in celebrating graduation from college and before loans kick in. Partially because long-term traveling is a huge passion of mine and it was time to put the passion to action!
