Revisiting Melaque

Back in March I got an e-mail from my godmother asking me if I'd like to go to Mexico with her for a quinceanera. I hadn't been to any part of Mexico further than Baja California in over 13 years. I was only too glad to take her up on her offer and head down to Melaque where I had many childhood memories from those 13 years ago when my family was living in Guadalajara for a summer. This was a relaxing trip that would serve to reintroduce me to my culture and a chance to meet members of my godmother's family.
