After our jaunts in Vietnam, Egypt and Jordan we were ready for a few months in one place. We thought it was probably a bit too cold for the UK to begin with so spent the first month in Seville where we had a string of visitors (family from the UK) which we loved. Then it was Jon's 50th so we went to Rome for a week. We finally settled for 6 months in London.
We've always wanted to spend some time in London, and finally, with the Aussie so strong against the Pound we were able to. Luckily, with our friends Nikki and Phil already living in London we were able to find a fabulous apartment in Chelsea at a great rate.
