A 2 week adventure in Germany by Joan and Ron. We begin in Wertheim, a wine-growing village on the banks of the Main and Tauber rivers, with a 1,000 year old castle. We visit Munich and the Bavarian area, exploring and discovering places, food, and people. Then on to the Rhine River, where history and charm is everywhere. We stay in the village of Oberwesel, with a large castle and vineyards overlooking the Rhine and just down the river from the famous Loreley.
