We started our trip by heading around to the west shore of Lake Michigan via Chicago then Milwaukee. From here we we continue of the shoreline of Lake Michigan to Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin. We then headed to Green Bay before crossing into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our Lake Superior loop starts in the town of Grand Marais, Michigan located on the eastern boundary of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. From here we would travel west through Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Wisconsin and Minnesota's North Shore before entering Canada and heading back east.
