Our trip takes us, and our good friend Ali to Beijing, Xi'an and then down into central China to Chengdu and the Giant Panda breeding centre, before climbing the holy mountain of Emeishan. A three day trip down the Yangzi river follows and Yangshuo where the limestone karsts rise from the earth. We train into Hong Kong for a few days before Ali flies home and we head for Hanoi where we begin five days treking through the hill tribe villages of Sapa in Northern Vietnam. Three weeks touring Vietnam after that and on into Cambodia, Siem reap and Phnon Penh. Our last stop is Bangkok then we fly home after seven adventurous weeks.
